Human Resources Intern

Position Description


Position Summary:

Responsible for providing a variety of human resources services (employee relations, recruiting, attendance reviews, etc.) for the facility. Ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with all Company Policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

Duration: 3-month, 6-month, or one year assignment available. If you are a current student, we are willing to consider a flexible schedule.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage hourly performance reviews.
  • Partner with Training Coordinator to ensure that training is being completed timely.
  • Provide administrative support for all employees.
  • Responsible for recruiting hourly employees. Oversees and participates in employment activities to ensure that properly qualified employees are recruited and hired. Maintains the applicant tracking system and ensures timely communication with candidates.
  • Conducts new hire orientations and exit interviews; coordinates employee meetings and events as required.
  • Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local laws.
  • Perform data entry, file, and organize employee files.
  • Review attendance and ensure that the attendance policies are being followed.
  • Prepare necessary data and reports upon request.
  • Create presentations and plant informational fliers as necessary.

Qualifications


  • Current student pursing a bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or recent graduate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated results-driven leadership.

Hourly rate: $25.00/hour
